What is an ADSB Dipole Antenna 1090 MHz Antenna?
The ADSB Dipole Antenna 1090 MHz Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-NM-1090-20260-FB is a 1090 MHz Collinear Antenna ADSB Dipole Antenna with a 20x260mm glass fiber antenna mast waterproof antenna 5dBi antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc for outdoor ADS-B system applications.
Technical compatibility issues
The first is the two-way communication system is different.
ADS-B communication system is broadcast two-way communication, and our country used for track tracking, and control data communication ground and air data chain, the adoption of the United States ARINC AEEC618/AEEC622 protocol way, is a two-way communication answering type.
The data refresh rate of this communication system is restricted by the answering protocol, its synchronization and real-time can’t meet the demand of high-density flight control service, and can’t be compatible with ADS-B technology.
The second is the difference in the capacity of the data chain.
The data chain utilized by ADS-B should be able to meet the requirements of high-density flight surveillance, so there are high requirements for data length and communication speed.
International aviation organizations recommended by the world interoperable ADS-B broadcast data chain-1090MHzS mode extended message data chain (1090ES), the maximum downlink data length of 112 bits, the maximum data rate of 1 megabit/second.
And China’s existing RGS ground-space data chain, with a maximum downlink data length of 32 bits, a maximum data rate of only 2400 bits / second, is obviously not compatible with the ADS-B broadcast message.
The ADS-B broadcast message is a bit-oriented data string, and the downlink data must be transparently transmitted to the ground users such as air traffic control or air operation dispatch after reaching the ground.
In the existing system, the downlink data intercepted by RGS or satellite must be converted into character-oriented SITA message format and transmitted to the user side through a low-speed automatic relay network.
The low efficiency of this information transmission method and the uncertainty of transmission delay cannot adapt to high-density flight surveillance.
