What is the UWB ultra-wideband positioning system architecture?

UWB positioning system products consist of a perception layer, transmission layer, service layer, network layer, and application layer.

The perception layer consists of three types of positioning base stations: positioning base stations, communication base stations, communication positioning base stations, and positioning tags.

The sensing layer is composed of a positioning base station, communication base station, communication positioning base station, and positioning tag, and the positioning of the positioning tag is realized through the UWB ultra-wideband positioning channel of the positioning base station and positioning tag.

The positioning of the positioning tag is achieved through the UWB ultra-wideband positioning channel between the positioning base station and the positioning tag, and the Zigbee communication channel between the communication base station and the positioning tag.

The Zigbee communication channel between the communication base station and the positioning tag achieves the parameter configuration of the positioning tag, the status return of the positioning tag, and the upstream and downstream data of the positioning tag.

The positioning base station realizes the parameter configuration, status back transmission, and upstream and downstream data of the positioning tag through the Zigbee communication channel with the communication base station and the communication positioning base station.

The transmission layer is divided into wireless transmission networks and wired transmission networks.

Wireless transmission network provides data transmission link for positioning base station through WIFI channel, wired transmission network provides data transmission link for positioning base station through wired Ethernet method, and wired transmission network also provides data transmission link for the wireless transmission network.

The service layer consists of UWB ultra-wideband positioning engine software, UWB ultra-wideband positioning system management software, and internal and external interface software, which are deployed in the system service layer server.

UWB ultra-wideband positioning engine software realizes the decoding of positioning data and gets the coordinates of positioning tags;

UWB ultra-wideband positioning system management software realizes the management and maintenance functions of the positioning network, communication network, and wireless transmission network, and serves as a data exchange bridge from the application layer to the sensing layer.

The network layer is divided into the Internet and local area network (LAN), and the LAN is deployed by the user side.

The application layer includes system application software and application layer external interface software.

The system application software realizes the basic functions such as positioning display and track playback and the expanded functions such as an electronic fence, inspection, process management, and attendance analysis by applying positioning data;

The application layer external interface software provides interfaces for integrators or other users to use the data of the system.
