About the material of the base station antenna

The outer cover materials used for base station antennas are mainly FRP, PVC, and ASA. GRP outer cover with high strength, heavyweight, and high loss is usually used for multi-band or large-size antennas.

PVC and ASA outer cover are not as strong as GRP outer cover, usually used for a single frequency or small size antenna, small loss, the cost is also lower.
