Yagi-Uda Antenna Supplier
C&T RF Antennas Inc is the outdoor Yagi antenna manufacturer directional Yagi-Uda antenna supplier in China.
What is a yagi antenna?
Yagi antenna is an end-fire antenna consisting of an active oscillator (usually a folded oscillator), a passive reflector, and several passive directors arranged in parallel.
Yagi antenna explanation: an exciting unit, a reflector unit, and one or more leading units constitute the end-fire array.
Yagi antenna note: actually the reflecting unit can be composed of some units or a reflecting surface.
What are the advantages of Yagi antennae?
Yagi antenna has good directionality and high gain than a dipole antenna. Use the yagi antenna to measure the direction, the long-distance communication effect is particularly good.
If equipped with an elevation and azimuth rotation control device, more can be arbitrary and include spacecraft in all directions of the radio contact, this feeling from the upright antenna is not available.
What is Yagi Antenna Structure?
A little longer than the active oscillator called a reflector, it is on the side of the active oscillator, playing a role in weakening the radio waves coming from this direction or from the antenna to the role of the radio waves.
Slightly shorter than the active oscillator called the guide, which is located on the other side of the active oscillator, it can enhance the direction from this site or to the direction of the wave launched out.
Leaders can have many, each length is slightly shorter than its neighbor and close to the active oscillator of that.
The more lead wires, the sharper the direction, the higher the gain, but in fact more than four or five lead wires, the benefits of this increase are less obvious, while the large size, increased weight, increased material strength requirements, increased costs, and other issues are becoming prominent.
Usually, there is a pair of five units of Yagi (that is, there are three leaders, a reflector, and an active oscillator) is enough. Each lead and reflector is made of a metal rod.
What is the working principle of the Yagi antenna?
The working principle of the Yagi antenna is like this (take three units of the antenna receiving as an example): the guide is slightly shorter than the one-half wavelength, the main oscillator is equal to one-half wavelength, and the reflector is slightly longer than the one-half wavelength, and the two oscillators are spaced one-quarter wavelength.
At this time, the inducer of the induced signal is “capacitive”, the current ahead of the voltage 90 °; the inducer of the induction of electromagnetic waves will be radiated to the main oscillator, radiation signal after a quarter wavelength of the journey so that the lag of 90 ° exactly offset the front caused by the “ahead”. The two are in the same phase, so the signal iterates and is strengthened.
Reflector slightly longer than the one-half wavelength, inductive, the current lagged 90 °, plus the radiation to the main oscillator process and lagged 90 °, the two add up to exactly 180 ° difference, played a canceling effect.
One direction to strengthen, a direction to weaken, there will be a strong direction. The same is true for the process of transmitting state action.
